We need Volunteers Before Implementation – go to Caring Community Page and complete Volunteer form.
When death is imminent or when it occurs members of Temple Beth El’s Caring Community Network will stand ready to assist member families.
If a family wishes that our rabbi or cantor guide them in the process of Jewish burial, mourning practices, and funeral services we ask that no announcement of date and time of funeral be made without first consulting with them. They will make every effort to adjust their schedules at your time of need.
Calling our temple at any time will allow the bereaved family to quickly reach a member of our clergy who will meet to comfort them and discuss funeral and mourning rituals.
When a family wishes to observe Shiva in their home following the funeral a member of the Shiva Community will work with the family to arrange the house for welcoming mourners, and help with ordering food and drink. Use this link to find some shops who can provide Shiva catering. We will also be there at TBE if services are at the temple. Contact (424) 477-2191.
